of Religious Communities Annual Appreciation Dinner
Each year we participate in this dinner event at which member churches recognize
a person or persons from their church who have made a significant contribution
to church or community life. The event is held in April of each year. Congregation
Havurah c/o 6320 Main St., Williamsville, NY 14221 Our congregation
also shares its building with a liberal Jewish group, Congregation Havurah. While
our building is full of meaning and symbolism for all of us, its religious expression
is not specific to any religious culture and makes it a perfect place for non-Christian
groups to find a comfortable sanctuary for worship and social life. Williamsville
Interfaith Clergy Association Our minister participates in the Williamsville
Interfaith Clergy Association. This group of religious leaders comes together
from Protestant, Catholic, and Orthodox churches, synagogues, and mosques. They
meet monthly in member houses of faith for lunch, conversation and mutual support.
Outreach to the Islamic community and their leadership has been a recent priority,
in this time of tension and increasing prejudice about middle eastern peoples.

Want more current information? Our newsletter has been divided
into two parts for quicker viewing. Part
1 will contain all church faith-related activities, including sermons,
messages from the minister and religious instruction.
Part 2 will contain all other activities of church life.
