Our inaugural Summer Curiosity Week brought both UU Amherst and community kids together for a full week of art, science, nature, music, movement, making, playing and plenty of curiosity!
Beyond all the fun, we watched kids build confidence, flexibility, responsibility and community throughout the week. We also learned so much that will help us continue growing opportunities for children and families at UU Amherst. Most importantly, thank you to our incredible UU Amherst folks that helped make it happen. From planning behind the scenes to sharing a favorite skill to simply being an extra pair of hands when we needed one, twenty-five people contributed their time, talents, ideas, supplies, helping hands and support to Curiosity Week; not to mention those who donated toward our scholarship fund, spread the word about the camp and more.
This truly could not have happened without all of you, and it was such a wonderful example of what we can create.
