Amherst Little Free Pantry Update

We still have an abundance of canned black beans, pinto beans, cut green beans, and kernel corn. If you’d
like to purchase any for 50-cents per can, please contact one of the pantry Directors.

ALFP benefited from Congregation Shir Shalom’s Tikkun Olam (Social Action) collection of non-perishable food and personal care items during February. They donated two overflowing barrels of items. Thanks to Judy Churchill for helping with pick up and Peter and Ben Terhune for sorting assistance.

We also received a large delivery from a collection taken by Temple Beth Tzedek’s Kesher Inclusion Outstretched Arms during their program celebrating Purim 2026.

Through the generosity of the Kreher family, we now provide Kreher’s Farm Fresh Eggs to our users. This connection grew from Firewall renting the Emerson Room for meetings, which led some of us to engage with a pro-democracy Monday Night Meeting group in Clarence that the Krehers attend. (The same folks introduced the Tuckers to A.J.)

ALFP’s own website is public at long last. Visit us online at amherstlittlefreepantry.org.

Our next meeting will be Sunday, April 12, because Easter falls on the 1st Sunday. We gather at noon in the Library/Living Room.
