Reminder: New Middle & High School Curriculum
In case you missed it, the Faith Development youth have been partaking in a fun beta testing of a new
curriculum! The program, Journeys of Deeper Joy, is an ongoing role-playing game based on the UUA Deeper Joy enrichment activities. Weekly participation is not required as it involves standalone sessions so, please encourage your youth to come check it out! We also have donuts for the youth (but don’t tell the littles that I said that). We will be beta testing Journeys of Deeper Joy until August 1st. Save the Date(s): Simply Family Series
We’ll be offering a free 8-week program for families, designed to provide tools, community and compassion in the journey of raising children. Guided by the book, The Gifts of Imperfect Parenting by Brené Brown, we’ll offer a safe space for parents and caregivers to explore the topics the book offers and more. Sessions will run September 23rd through November 11th every Tuesday from 5:00-7:30pm. An inclusive meal and secular childcare will be provided. More info to be announced soon!
