The Debbie Waterhouse Ecology honors the memory of Rev. Waterhouse’s daughter who died in a car accident while he was our minister. Located at the back of our main parking lot, the Ecology Center has wooded trails, walkable labyrinths, and a shelter. The Ecology Center integrates many aspects of our UU Amherst mission and provides respite or sanctuary for individuals who desire time with nature or spiritual healing.
