The Senior Youth Group meets Sunday mornings from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on the top floor of the Mansion.  On most Sundays, the youth do workshops from a Tapestry of Faith Curriculum called “A Place of Wholeness.”  On other Sundays, the youth plan for upcoming events, attend services, help with some children’s events, make Thanksgiving and Valentine’s Day cards for Caring for One Another, have discussions on topics of their choice (Topic Bowl), participate in Gay Pride Parade.  In the Spring, the group is responsible for Youth Sunday service during which they share their church year experiences and conduct a “Bridging” ceremony for graduating Seniors and welcome in-coming 9th graders.

The larger congregation provides support by volunteering:

  • 1 to 2 Sundays per month (10:30 am -11:30 am), or Guest Advisor for one Sunday
  • Weekend Day or Evening Service Projects or Social Events
  • One Night Sleepovers at the Church
  • Drive to and Chaperone Out-of-Town Youth Conferences
  • Providing food for Youth Cons held at the church
