Dance For the Dead

Rev. Tet Gallardo is from the Philippines. The Nobel Prize scientist Max Planck said, “Science advances one funeral at a time.” Rev. Tet Gallardo lost her mother to Covid-19 last April. The pandemic has been exacting on her mental health especially while trying to run a church of 25 communities in a very important transition time in church history and in the world. She was only elected in 2019. It is a time of VUCA – volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity. And the only thing to do is dance. And dance has been a crucial part of Filipino culture. She’s been dancing for a while now.
