In December, we learned that renowned Buffalo fiber artist, Nancy Belfer, passed away at the age of 95.

UU Amherst is the home of one of her fiber arts. The large weaving can be found in the chapel/sanctuary, just as you enter. In a room that is dominated by windows, it must have been difficult to find a space to accommodate the large tapestry.

Next time you’re at UU Amherst and entering the chapel, look up! And then look around. We are blessed with so much artistry throughout the building: weavings, paintings, photographs, carpentry. Open yourself to the abundance that has been so generously shared for your pleasure and upliftment.
